The clinical credential: I am licensed to diagnose and treat mental illness by the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners (LPC #3114-S). The S means that I am credentialed as a clinical supervisor of other counselors. The licensure board holds the view that therapy (mental health counseling) can be provided only to residents of the state of Louisiana, even if provided online. This licensure credential can be verified by contacting the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners, at lpcboard@eatel.net. The spirituality part: My training in the contemplative tradition of spiritual guidance was received at Shalem Institute, Bethesda, Maryland. Spiritual guidance is appropriate for persons of any tradition or culture, who are searching for meaning in their lives, or healing from spiritual wounds. This servuce is appropriate for people over age 18, regardless of where they may live.
